– Driftboard release? Possibly, but probably not.
The big v7.20 Fortnite update hits tomorrow, mid-morning for Europe and late-afternoon/early evening for the Americas and were expecting good things!
Scoped Revolver
First up, Epic Games have told us a new ‘scoped revolver’ is to be released soon, so we’re expecting this to be the centrepiece of this update. What we know so far it that its a standard 6-shot pistol and that promises high damage and “perfect accuracy” at range. This should be interesting….
Is the driftboard coming?
Will the driftboard be coming? The honest answer is we just aren’t sure. The drift board was supposed to be here in the last update, so it’s quite possible it’s ready for release. However, given that Epic Games almost delayed the entire update due to problems with the driftboard we don’t think its a massive jump to assume that the problems were significant. We should also add that teasing the new scoped revolver may be an attempt to distract from the drift boards absence. Our best guess is: not yet.
We’ve also got a few other boring things like glider redeploys etc.
